Systems with MPS static mixers enable the preparation of ternary (Trimix, Heliair) and binary (Heliox, Nitrox) gas mixtures.
They are easy to install and offer significant advantages due to their user-friendly design.
Their globally patented shape ensures mathematically predictable mixtures (via dedicated software), with minimal pressure loss.

SOLENOID BOX

The mixer is supplied with a solenoid box that must be connected to the compressor. Before reaching the mixer, the oxygen and helium tubes must pass through this box.

The solenoid box contains two normally closed solenoid valves. These valves open only when connected to the compressor and the compressor is running. This setup prevents accidental gas flow into the tube and stops the gas supply at the end of the refill and the compressor stops.
In case of an emergency stop or a power failure, the gas supply is stopped, ensuring system safety.

The box includes a switch that disables the solenoid valves, preventing gas flow by keeping the valves closed. Always keep this switch in the OFF position when gas mixtures are not being produced.

Additionally, the processor is programmed to stop the oxygen flow if the oxygen concentration exceeds 45%, preventing potential damage to the compressor from operating with excessively high oxygen levels.
